NAC entries for September

this month's Nagfa Ambigram Challenge: Myths & Legends and the name of a singer, album, or song for which i chose the incomparable Kate Bush (no relation to Dubyah). i tried a fresh approach to Kate's ambigram, going with a brush look.

this image was inspired by an old rick wakeman album. the album came with a mylar tube that you placed on the turntable (pre-CD day technology) which turned the distorted image printed on the record label into a normal image.

Sack of Hammers Graffiti

Sack of Hammers isn't a legit band, it's just me farting around with Apple's Garageband program. still, for someone with absolutely no musical training, i did okay. my debut song "i'm still dreaming" finished #794 out of 1482 in the ambient catagory with 2.9 out of 5 stars on garageband.com (not affiliated with the Apple program). it also garnered several awards including "track of the day" for July 10, 2005. from there it was pretty much downhill. out of the 5 songs i entered none of them did as well. so much for my 5 minutes of fame as a rock star.
